Brother Jangjang,
Another twist; the religious dimension. Our religious leaders have made their positions clear. The Muslim Quran teaches about this world and the next world. The Bible also teaches about this and next world. In the Quran it states "Rabbana Aateena Fee Dunya, Ashanatan Wa Fee Laheera" (however it goes.) In the Bible it goes: "Thou will be done on earth as it is in heaven" from the Lords Prayer (Our Father who arth in Heaven) however the best way of putting it. From these we know that both religions teach about the option of a choice between earthly favours and heavenly bliss and glory. There are people seen under human eyes as men and women of God. In themselves they know they are not. No finger pointing, but curious observation will reveal the true identity of who the real faithful ones are. We don't have to blame those who hide behind religion to deceive rest of society. It is the same people who pretend they are not aware of what wrongs Jammeh is inflicting on us Gambians. They have eyes that will not see and ears that will not hear.
Out here and there in society, genuine Gambians are in large number. It is a matter of cracking the shells and letting our true selves prevail. Do not under-estimate your this very few lines. It is assuring to know there in the crowd stands men like your good self. Their (Jammeh's people) loud noise and misleading minds could not turn the wheel of truth on backward traction. This is good progress we are able to sustain. Higher respects. |

In Sympathy
The sadness of death gives way to the bright promise of immortality. Lord, for your faithful people life is changed, not ended. When the body of our earthly dwelling lies in death,we gain an everlasting dwelling in heaven.
By Roman Missal
I think we Gambians in the diaspora should start doing the little we can to reverse this sad situation by remenbering our Loved ones killed by the Gambian dictator. One thing springs to mind, is sending or placing flowers from where ever you may be to YOUR GAMBIAN EMBASSY on each rememberance day of our loved ones. This can be done by post in your own way, with your own words and feelings. If we can all send flowers on the day of the murder of Koro, Deyda, etc for example, may be they will get thousands of flowers as rememberance and will also softened and renew our Gambian feelings for our loved ones. The starting point is to supply and remind each other of the Days of the rememberance. Then we can start from there...
The world needs to know the Devil we are dealing with! |

Very nicely said Jangjang, however no body in my immediate family is a member of Jammehīs Govīt and no member of my family is either missing or killed. But the fact still remains, people do not always share the same desire and interest, am although very interested in knowing what happened to those people allegedly murdered by Jammeh. You see if we all take justice in our hands the world will be a hell to live in. In that note I let God take over and one day punish who ever is guilty. You might be very supprise then, may be not Jammeh. If as said Jammeh is guilty, he knows that he will pay but if he is not guilty his accusers will pay. I remain impartial and assume him innocent untill proven otherwise. Respect By the way, the flower sending sound very good to show respect for our brothers and sisters who died for what they believed in. |
It is the mark of intelligence to entertain an idea without accepting it. |

Hi Bread man
These people were clearly killed under the watch of Jammeh as our leader, there is no escaping that fact.
Will you be sending flowers? I will, and I think karamba will, and I think Dalton will, I think Gambians will, I think Sis-Omega will if she cares. Let us send flowers on behave of our kids, our parents, our mothers to remember our loved ones.
Let us invite some prominent people in these countries, Let us invite the world, to remember the sad days of our modern times. Let us call it the REMEMBERANCE DAYS.
Let us send flowers....let us soften our hearts..after all GAMBIANS ARE THE SAME FAMILY.

Bro Jangjang,
watch out for the likes of breadman, only sparking discussions. he is not a Jammeh sympathiser. His brain is beyond a Jammehrite.
I can send flowers, but not to the embassies or some palace. I will make sure they are placed where the blood oozed. Still in memory of April 11th, as a student of uotg campused at the GTTI campus then.
Sending them to the embassies might give it a whole different meaning. (just my personal thought!)
You all have a good day! Y |

Bread Man,
None of them died of what they "believe in." They were serially and brutally butchered or set on fire. It was not a fight. It was ambush and elimination.
Brother Jangjang, start compiling the dates. I am set for the flower laying. You have opened a whole chapter here. Days or weeks before the deadly events, we all send flowers. The embassies are manned by blind Jammehrites. Let them not be happy about seeing flowers on these events. Their master too will feel sad about it. Jammeh is nothing less than a killer.
Bread Man, don't tell us Jammeh is not guilty. Look at the reverse. Jammeh is guilty until he proves himself innocent (which I strongly doubt he can.) This is a matter of national interest and Jammeh could not kill our fellow citizens to call it a day. You may not know but he (Jammeh)knows what is worrying him. Too much blood and too much tears. Enough to keep the Gambian soil wet without yield. Stay on with Jammeh (that's your right, for which you deserve to be respected.) That does not mean Jammeh will not be smoked and dragged out of his rathole. |

Just pile up the dates and i promise I will send flowers. Yes I am devoted to supporting Jammeh and his developement orientation. However, any day it comes to light that he is personally responsible for these alleged murder, I will turn my back on him. In the mean time am with Jammeh and hope he realises he is also just human and is bound to make mistakes and he should accept them. Brother Dalton I donīt know the term Jammehrite, but am a Jammeh fan not because he is this or that, but only because his govīt addressed my immediate needs and the needs of the average Gambians. I look beyond the individual interest but national interest should be the priority of all Gambians. Jammeh always talks about national interest. |
