If you are refering to Yayah Jammeh's forced entry into government then God help us. President Jawara's Government wasn't any better but at least there was stability. I find it hard to comprehend a person of your intelligence seriously belief that Mr Jammeh and his clons really brought independence and democracy to the people of The Gambia. The man is egotistical and a scare mongering maniac. The sooner he and his so call government disappears the better. What Gambia needs is a 'democratic' government [elected by the people who are well informed on political issues]. A government who acts solely for the benefit of the people and the country and not someone who launders the country's wealth into private Swiss bank accounts. I hope to God the majority of the Gambia people don't think like you do, because if they do, then there is no hope for the Gambia.
