POETRY CORNER
Dr. Waaru

A rear ilk of his kinds’ time
Dresses in a garment of superstitious pride
Graduate from imaginary institution
Outstanding in faculty of impossibility sciences
Majored in psychological acrobacy
Producer of thoughtless thoughts
Self-righteously gifted leader
Announced his doubtful alarming ability
As curer of the incurable
Leaving murmuring and gossips
In homes, streets and ghettos
Hospitals availed with his secret herbs
Administered on desperate patients
Doctors’ sham medical niceties
Is all to aid him
Write his own history
By playing Kata-Kata
With precious lives
Building a mountain
Out of an anthill
Let credible Doctors answer
The medical questions
Of the nation

I tell u Dr. Waaru got it.

"By playing Kata-Kata
With precious lives
Building a mountain
Out of an anthill
Let credible Doctors answer
The medical questions
Of the nation" Dr. Waaru.

Ignanimous healing bem-phem,
Riding on the horses of the citizenry,
In search of Nkrumah's staff stick,
Ending up in Taylor's stinky shoes.

Lo ! Lo bem-phem! Lo!

That was a good addition Dalton. Are you sure you didn't write this?

In response to the sceptical one can only paraphrase Dr. Thomas' word to the wise:

“Sometimes facts
are alarmist “Unbelieving Thomas”
I am pleased to read your expertise on the subject.
I didn't realise you had a medical qualification. Not that this matters as to how the people surrounding will act on your suggestions"

Mawdo Momodou,

no. i was just bashing some poetic lines to it.

But i think i can first-guess the anonymous author of the poem on a 90% chance.

Thanks, Dalton.

Thanks, your lines made me smile when I read them. I can imagine them to be lyrics for a song.
