Sister Omega, Thanks for bringing this sad news to our attention. Brother Momodou, please accept my sincere sympathy for this sad loss, but remember as a Muslim what Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has destined no one can change,so accept it with Iman, courage and fortitude. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant her peace in the grave and Jannat in the hereafter. May we all join in to recite suratul Yasin and Al-fatiha for the soul of the deceased, and may she be credited with reward of such recitation. Thinking of you and your family in your hour of grief. Musa. |

A TRIBUTE TO ALL MOTHERS-Allahumah igfirlaha
After the topic ran for some days now, it is certain from the postings that our forum master, Momodou, lost his mother. Acting on that sad news, i join the many mourners to wish her an eternal and peaceful resting. The same prayer is extended to my own mother who died on january 31st 1997, and all other mothers and fathers that preceeded in this permanent disappearance called "death". A friend of mine, Cherno Bah (Minnesota) just lost his mother on Eidul-adha feast (tobaski day). I want all to pray for those that departed recently, and those that did in the past, and those to follow. It is certain that life is a journey that must come to an end some day.It must be hard for Momodou, but as one that lived to withness many of such on other familes, he will be man enough to recover from such a wound and scar.
The following tribute goes to my mother, Momodou's mother, Cherno's mother, and the mothers of all contributors and readers here and everywhere else.
Dear Mother, Who cares more about me? Not even my father or my wife, Much more a son or daughter.
Dear Mother, Who carried me unseen for nine months? No one else, Not even myself.
Dear Mother, From you, any human came pure, Purity at birth, More than purity at hajj.
Dear Mother, Who was my first teacher of language? When i mumbled after you, And when i crawled and learnt how to walk.
Dear Mother, Who first fed and clothed me? Cleaned and washed my clothings? Even when i tainted bedsheets with faecal matter.
Dear Mother, By Allah swt and His Mightiness, And His Mercy, And His Kindness, And His Capability, Rest In eternal Peace. amen.
Note: Momodou, kindly accept my sympathy-and on behalf of the entire Gainako team, to which i am a consortium of.
Yero, aog |

Elder,
stay strong! I remember mine in 1997. It must be the hardest moment for any one. Wishing you and your entire family a faster recovery from the emotional stress. |
