Momodou,
Could you give us some idea of what the Foreign Exchange figures could be in £, $ or Euros, please? (It's difficult to imagine how many dollars there are in one billion dalasie and even if you give the rate of exchange I would still come up with a wild guess that could be way off the mark.....)

Cornelius, it is not about promotion it is about control and competion, from the UK Gambian Experience has the monopoly on flights and holidays in the off season, since the demise of GIA another story, people have to use monarch airlines throught gambian experience. second competition, here if you go to a high street travel agent competition is from south africa, kenya and tanzania for sub sahara afric. try it yourself and see.

Do we still need some kind of "Lady wright" cruise boat to ply the River Gambia?
From all africa.co on the Daily Observer Newspaper editorial Gambia: Cherishing What God Has Given Gambians under http://allafrica.com/stories/200611210685.html |

Serenata, gambia6005 have many ways of advertising his many websites here at Bantaba. Thanks for those links. |

A complete overhaul of Gambia Tourist Authority is needed especially in the area of training for the staff for them to be kept up-to-date with current cultural tourism developments. More funding is needed to finance the promotion budget to keep Gambia firmly placed on the map. Also the different area councils in Gambia could have their own websites to promote their local areas to attract more visitors and create tourist attractions for both internal and external visitors to these different locations in Gambia.
Peace

a complete over haul of the web site is needed, also open all the airways to more airlines, i agree the monopoly that gambia experience has on gambia is ridiculous in this day and age.
