These are the answers:

(1) In 1972 Gibou Momodou Jagne defeated Omar Jallow in the Serre Kunda Parliamentary Elections. For your information Gibou Jagne won this seat as a UP candidate.

(2) In 1977 Omar Jallow defeated Antouman Jatta in the Serrekunda East Parliamentary Elections. OJ therefore became the 1st Elected Member of Parliament for Serrekunda East.

(3) In 1982 Omar Jallow defeated Edirissa Manneh in the the Serrekunda East Parliamentary Elections.

(4) In 1977 Gibou Jagne defeated A.A Njie in the Serrekunda West Parliamentary West Elections

(5) In 1982 AA Njie defeated Gibou Jagne in the Serrekunda West Parliamentary West Elections

(6) In 1987 Gibou Jagne defeated AA Njie & Sam Pierre Mendy in the Serrekunda West Parliamentary West Elections

(7) In 1987 Omar Amadou Jallow defeated Edirisa Manneh, Halifa Sallah & Pa Ebou Ndure in the the Serrekunda East Parliamentary Elections.

Great. Gibou Jagne was big time NCP memeber. A.A Njie was also a nice guy. I met a lady who works as Secretary to the Prime Minsiter of Namibia who in her student days was put up by A.A Njie during the independence struggle when many Namibians were hosted in gambia.

Namibia should be grateful to this man. I salute him.

Gibou Jagne was without doubt a fine politician. In fact, I did vote for him in the 1987 General Elections. He is famous for making this quote; IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF MILE II PRISON THEN DON'T JOIN POLITICS.
