One of my Gambian friends is fond of saying that all Gambians are the same under the skin...they are all muslim brothers and sisters. I LOVE it in in the Gambia how all the different groups inter marry and get on so well. It is SUCH a good example to the rest of the world.
But apparently it is not so, I've just been put right by Bornafrican I still believe in the good and focus on the good in this world, if not, what can we hope for?
But thank you for your reply Bornafrican, it is very enlightening to read different opinions (my opinion by the way is not decided, as I don't have enough knowledge to make a proper judgement.Teaches me not to write what I hear, but rather what I know and experience.)
We are still at crossroads with all the energy and resources invested to seek solutions and make progress. What is the way forward? Extending discussions further from this backgroung information.
