I watched this interview a few days ago. What histrionics!
There he was rude, gruff, bullying and putting that very polite Sky lady almost to tears.
I wish I had been interviewing him - he would have received a verbal black eye and you may believe in the literal eye for an eye, but if he had bullied CNN's Sonia Russler like that I would have given him double.
I promise to take up all he says, his rogue, aggressive, un-nuanced, and strident to the point of hysteria anti-Semitic demagoguery point by point. That’s what the demand is in Bantaba: not merely calling names ( that’s facile enough and sometimes just facetious and not enough ) what is demanded is that we engage whatever arguments or points of view we find distasteful, as I find some of what this bellicose MP was saying, and some of his justifications Hitlerian and morally repugnant in the extreme.
Fear God! Have no fear of Galloway or the gallows.

Cornelius, I dont think he was rude. Saying the truth is not rudeness. We have a saying in the Gambia that says "the truth hurts like pepper". I think you should listen more to Galloway. He has said it all. He is realy a truthful person. The world needs more of his kind. |

Galloway is a brave politician because he speaks his mind, instead of just toeing the line. Whether you agree with his views or not I think it is good a politican speaks his mind.
He made a BIG mistake going into the big brother house though, now people in Uk have less respect for him. We just see him pretending to be a cat! LOL!!! |

George Galloway MP – Bethnal Green & Bow.
I think what has been rubbed into the wound is that George Galloway was once married to a Palestinian & that in his early days he succeeded in getting a Palestinian flag flying over the Town Hall/ Dundee Labour Party. Dundee & Nablus are twinned cities.
Well-done George…for speaking the truth the past thirty years – keep them on their toes!

The world would be a poorer place if it was peopled by children whose parents risked nothing in the cause of social justice, for fear of personal loss. (Joe Slovo - African revolutionary) |

As my step father was equally Scottish and brave etc, I can assure you that not only did I learn to dance to the music of Jimmy Shand but I also know the norms of gentlemanly behaviour.
In that interview, not only was he rude, he was also uncouth and crude and especially so when measured against the norms of Islamic adab, and since he is married to a genteel Arab Muslim lady, he ought to know better about the rules of the game when discussing with his own British sister who has never done him any harm.
Respect begets respect and I will not respect someone who does not respect me. So far, I have been exceedingly kind to you and every other African who has disrespected me mostly by thinking too much of themselves. Don’t forget that the prophet of Islam was as he boasted very often an “ummi”/ illiterate prophet and how would you feel if someone like a wannabe little ex bush-boy Sierra Leonean envoy were to say to you that Rasululah, salalahu alaihi wa salaam had never got to form four of a secondary school etc and therefore etc, Would you let him have it?

You know what racism is, as I’m sure you have at least some theoretical knowledge about it. Do you know what ant-Semitism is? WE are going to be much better friends when you’ve checked this out: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=anti-Semitism
The Holocaust too which Iran’s chief of anti-Semites denies:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=Holocaust&spell=1
I'm getting a of that transcript of that Galloway interview, in which he is so full of gall, so that I'll help do Justice and I’ll do a fairly good job (ADL = Justice in Arabic. Also = http://www.adl.org/
Double = two black eyes!" or as a man from Dundee would say, ”Someone needs a bloody good hideing!" Yes good, like when slightly Johnny Walker or Dimple Haig- inebriated Scot says, " That's a bloody good-looking woman " know that he really means it.
Sabre, patience and you too know that the truths of Islam should be stated the way that the prophet of Islam salalahu alaihi wa salaam recommended; through beautiful speech and in all his discussions he always maintained the very best adab, he was very courteous: so try to follow the example of your most perfect role model.
The truths of Islam surely should not hurt anyone like pepper, if stated modestly.
Some on Uncle George, former back bencher:

Remember Khaibar? http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23742 Al-Hassan one more thing: about our focus on Lebanon, I have not tied anyone’s hands you know. You, we are free to represent Hezbollah as much as you want. I read all the Arab, Iranian, Palestinian papers; too you know and visit other forums. Next week I’m going to rejoin the Palestinian Chronicle Forum…..I had joined earlier but was somehow prevented from posting. What kind of democracy is that when one is prepared to uphold the rules of the House? Sure, I care very deeply about Palestinians and I also have things to say even as anon-Palestinian. I am a member of a few Jewish Forums. I hope that this is not like taking coal to Newcastle:

Looks like there a slight splitting of the Democratic Party…. Does that mean that the Republicans win the next presidential election and continue…….? What will you say then? More of the same (I follow Bush etc? Since when?

Cornellius I don't understand why you think that Israel owns this world or should dominate. Some Jews are rallying for PEACE AND PROGRESS but the paranoid and weaklings like you don't care or existed want to accept realities of this modern world. Israel existed but was recreated and re-damacated poltically. Diplomacy is necessary for their existence and survival. Nations might have might but can easily disintegrate if they see power as their only tool to rule. You have the Torah and learn something from the story of Egypt civilization and the Pharaohs'. The ideology that US is a super power and cannot be challenged diplomatically is making them becoming weak. They were leading in the diplomatic front because of their values, advocay, democracy etc and should re-think on their foreign policies. Since 9/11 terrorism is not properly defined and handled in the right way. What they are seeing is the enemy and other ideologies are evil and must be crushed with counter terrorism. These are unproductive and billions are being wasted and certain military actions misdirected to the innocent civilians. There are both environmental and humanitarian hazards caused and setback to the world at large. Look at Lebanon which started to pick up as a tourism paradised detroyed and restraint its development for another 40 years backwards. The civilian deaths is far important than any political and diplomatic resolutions and an immediate cease fire is necessary, Israel told to mature now and stop pampering them with TOTAL SECURITY AND PRIDE ABOVE ALL OTHER NATIONS. Galloway is not hypocrical but advocates for truth, fairplay, equity and proper diplomacy and better values. |
