"Jammeh's Dialogue with the peoples’ tour" with more on the PARTY TRAIL; on-going regional carnival parties after recently celebrated 48th State Birthday celebration.
Opposition front has a big challenge to dismantle a political system and the establishment; ALREADY IN MOTION AND SPINNING IN ANNUAL CYCLE where all democratic institutions and series of government programmes (including MONTHLY PRESIDENTIAL/APRC CARNIVALS AND REGIONAL PARTIES, AIDS, KANILAI ROOTS FESTIVAL, KANILAI SEASONAL FARMING, JULY 22ND CELEBRATIONS, YOUTH PROGRAMMES, WOMEN PROGRAMMES, NEW AND END OF YEAR PARTIES, AMONGST OTHERS) only plays in hands of dictator Jammeh further entrenching him.

Truth of the matter is that Jammeh wrecked Gambia so bad. all that he does is raising false hope. The man has no good intention for Gambia. He is wicked.
How can he own everything and talking to a hungry nation is terrific. Kobo if you have any advice for Jammeh here is the moment. |

1. Karamba On your comment above "advice for Jammeh" the answer from these resounding statements by Burama Jammeh QUOTED: quote: "In as much as we despised Yahya and his A(F)PRC Enterprise we cannot continued to ignore the fact that he has to be an important component of the solution. Many of us are with the notion that Yahya is singlehandedly the sole problem. No he is not. Certainly he is one bad guy (Darth Vader) in our history but so too anyone of us will be with the current environment. Our problem created Yahya and if we did not stand our grounds quickly we can expect many more Yahya’s in the very near future. Yahya is not powerful as suggested some. His power is to the extent of our weakness. It is a simple mathematical equation: Yahya + Gambians = 1, when we are zero, he is 1, when we are 0.5, he is 0.5 and when we are 1, he is zero. We should work to tilt this equation on our side. He currently has the upper hand; hence he has no incentive to work with anyone to fix Gambia. The stronger we organize and amass our voice the weaker he gets; that will be his incentive to listen and ready to work with us on the coming of democracy." by Burama Jammeh

Down the line in head counts Kobo, someone or some people represent(s)total madness. If Jammeh was the Imam he claims to be, why was he not leading the prayers but one of the army fellows?
In his one million years life on this planet, Jammeh can only fool some people and not everyone. |

1 Karamba Jammeh is not worried about not leading prayers but doing what he wants to do. He performed openly his rituals as animist and comfortable using religion to demystify the people, manipulate the country, abuse authority, disregard The Consitution and rule as he wants as a powerful dictator. All these criticisms, opposition and online campaign against him is not working and dissidents need to rethink change in strategy; else only God will help the nation from this tyrant
2. This relevant QUOTE noted from The Point Newspaper headline "Darboe speaks of ‘economic hardship’ facing Gambia" (Full info.here) appear interesting and when properly analysed, opposition has a long way to go to get rid of Jammeh/APRC government; quote: "Leader of the opposition United Democratic Party (UDP) Ousainou Darboe has spoken of what he called an ‘economic hardship’ currently facing the country, stressing that the current situation is unbearable.
Darboe, who was speaking in an interview with this reporter at the weekend, said it is unfortunate that the majority of Gambians publicly support the situation, but in private they want the situation to come to an end"
...."it is unfortunate that the majority of Gambians publicly support the situation" and APRC structures and networks very solid on the ground; evident from The President Jammeh's dialogue with the peoples tour pictures and uploaded GRTS tour news; whilst dissidents; especially opposition is in disarray, disunited, disorganised, on soul searching, infighting and power struggle. Also what is alarming every elections is openly rigged by Yaya investing millions of dalasis, mobilising state resources, manipulate Independent Electoral Council (I.E.C), ministers, public servants, regional governors, chiefs, alkalos, Imams, community elders, women and youth groups. YAYA MASTER HIS GAME PLAN AND STRATEGY SO WHEN CAN WE END DICTATORSHIP AND GET RID OF THIS TYRANT OR KANILAI MONSTER

Chaos all over. Kobo, it is very much worrying to see Gambian in this dire state of affairs. People lining up to adore Jammeh as though a cult affair, that is most disheartening. |

PROPAGANDA OR REALITY: HOW TO CLASIFY THE PRESIDENT’S THREATS?
Foroyaa Editorial: Published on Monday, 01 July 2013
Unemployment in the country is very high. The President however has been blaming the youths during his tour for not exploiting farming and fishing opportunities and has gone as far as to issue threats that the youths will be forced to farm or fish for a living. Foroyaa challenges the government to reveal the number of youths that have approached the fisheries department to seek employment from foreign fishing vessels. Many young people have been waiting for such employment for a long period of time.
Hence the state should not give the impression that the youths are refusing to fish. In fact government should investigate the number of cases being reported by youths of the slave labour in such vessels. There is no need to introduce forced labour in the Gambia. The youths are dying at sea in search of employment abroad. Those who observe the youths serving as labour hands in construction work are convinced that the Gambian youth does not need to be forced to work to earn a living. They are just simply deprived of work or terribly under paid to the point that they could not earn a decent living to maintain a family. We are fully aware of the number of young people that are searching for opportunity to join Taiwanese and other vessels to go out at sea under the most difficult conditions. The government should stop the propaganda and tell the nation the facts about unemployment. Foroyaa will only take the officials seriously when they implement section 44 of the labour Act. Section 44 of the labour act has instructed the government to keep records of the number of youths seeking employment so that one would know how many of them are unemployed and what their areas of competence are. It states: (1) The commissioner shall establish and maintain an employment service designed to bring together personss offering and seeking employment, including, at the mihniimum, maintaining a register in Banjul of persons seeking emplyment. (2) The Commissioner take such measures as he or she deems fit to promote the use of the employment service including – (a) Mainitng the Banjul register in a way that makes it an effective tool for matching employers with job seekers; (b) Encouraging employers to notify the employment service of vacancies in their establishments; (c) Encouraging job seekers to register their availability for work; (d) Consulting with trade unions, employers’ organisisations, and the Labopur Advisory Board on how to make the employment service effective; and (e) Establshing services designed to attract users of the employment service in Banjul and throughout The Gambia.” The president has been announcing that the youths in the rural areas would be forced to go to the farms and that those in the coast would be forced to go and fish. No farmer needs to be forced to go and farm. Who on earth would feed a youth in the village who does not go to the farm to work.
All the talk about forcing people to work is to give the impression that the poverty of the people is self created. No body talks about forced labour in the world since it is against international conventions and national constitutions including that of the Gambia. Only those who intend to transform people into slaves who work without benefit would talk about forced labour. No human being on earth would reject labour that gives good income and better living standard. Since forced labour is evil this is why Section 20 subsections (1) and (2) of the Constitution states: “(1) No person shall be held in slavery or servitude (2) No person shall be required to perform forced labour.”
