I think it's important for women to know the value of self. And if a woman is single it is a unique time to get to know your inner self because then you are in a position to know what it is you are looking for in a relationship. Also being in a healthy relationship doesn't mean that a woman must lose herself there should be enough room for both partners to evolve into who they are to become.
Kassma it's important for women not to completely sacrifice themselves for others because then they will have not enough energy to nuture themselves and to utilise their full potential.
Janyanfara, I agree with all the virtues you pointed out about women. And I'd like to add that the woman who destroyed her husband face should get a life sentence. Just as I would expect a man to get if he did the same thing to a woman. Her actions are unforgiveable and her jealousy pure evil!
Lemon Time I don't think Kassma is talking so much of finding a perfect man. I think she was talking about women being respected in their own right as women. However men and women are interelated and interdependent on each other. There is a gender principle which governs the universe, the planet we live on and all life on Earth. What is artificial is gender poltics in so much as patriarchalism where males dominate the political, economic, social, environmental structures, and these aspects need to be rebalanced.
If we look at the unsustainable state of the world we are living in most of the chaos in the world has been created by men because they are in position of power, and have turned the world upside down for centuries. Now maybe it's time for the feminine principle to emerge and address those issues which the masculine principle has failed to address. I think both the feminine and masculine should work in unison with each other to bring about a more ethical world.

| thank you for realising i'm not a man-hungry lonely woman venting. i do agree we need each other, but also i'm willing to say that much of our history, women have been abused and this abuse has turned into selfhatred and internal sexism. so many women say negative things about our own sex but we are socialized to think of ourselves as below men. this wrong is going to righted, sooner or later, and i don't think it can be righted when men are in denial of the issues we face |
