May she Rest in Peace, many will have different views on Margaret Thatcher, she believed in putting her country and its people first and put the UK back on the world map after years of decline much to the anger of many left wing socialist thinking citizens.
As with MOST women she liked to have her own way and is one of the few politicians who actually made those in her administration jump and do as they were told quickly and efficiently, without generating a great deal of hot air and discussion lasting ages and ending up with no decisions being made, "good ideas kicked into the long grass", is the current phrase.
It is also true to say that she felt that she was infallible in the closing weeks of her "reign",yes the longest serving prime minister of the UK in the 20th Century and a woman at that she must have been liked by many of the citizens of the UK if she could win three consecutive general elections !

OK, I admit it, my favorite colour is BLUE

And now for a little story which shocked ALL of the UK,its not off topic Margaret Thatcher who died today was there.

""Here in America, many of us will never forget her standing shoulder to shoulder with President Reagan, reminding the world that we are not simply carried along by the currents of history—we can shape them with moral conviction, unyielding courage and iron will."
He added that her premiership was "an example to our daughters that there is no glass ceiling that can't be shattered".----------"

It is with great sorrow that I can foresee that there is a strong likelihood of violent outbursts and demonstrations along the route of the funeral procession a time surely when the dead are due respect.HOWEVER I personally would have liked the funeral to have been a private affair for relatives and friends only.
The blatant politicisation of the funeral is a mistake, although I do think that Mrs Thatchers spirit will be looking down in order to note the conduct of some sections of British society who welcome the opportunity to perform in a non dignified and violent way at a solemn occasion showing respect for the dead.

Treating Thatcher's death as moment of settling political scores is sad and unbecoming. It has potential to paint another picture the world never take of Britain. She deserve respect whatever the matter. None of those celebrating over Thatcher's death would want to be treated in same way when they die. R I P
