Readers may remember that a little while ago there was a short discussion here on Bantaba about The River Gambia,(Momodou may have links that the can post for us)dams,navigation,abstraction,etc,it is refressing to nate that Gambia takes this matter seriously and has held a conference on the subject,excellent.
