This had to come eventually, for far too long peoples in Gambia and Africa in general have been used to going where they like and calling themselves by any name they like without any verifiable way of anyone establishing exactly who they are and where they have come from,making the job of those tasked with immigration and security of a country totally unable to do a GOOD job,through no fault of their own.
In these days of militant factions from all countries and societies this must lead to insecurity in many countries in the world.
There is the added bonus for ANY administration to charge for identity documents that they may issue.
Money again,this stops poor people from traveling to better their lot in life.
