Hey buddy see this here line Drawn on the sand Cross it not at your peril That's your movements boundary I stand waiting on the other side if you dare The challenge is an open one Till I chose to end it
Stranger moves line the route Façades of bravery made in time Faced off with shrugs of nonchalance The seemingly cowards hide a smirk Waiting for the right time Remember they said 'statement' cried Then was questioned why In response said "I was made before my time is due"
Sand lines are no time lines Drawn on dirt in the open air Open calls made to scare off When we feel our intended foe is weak At times though the challenge turns sour Then it would be as one slaps himself Folly of an unwise move Hurt and shame in the end Closes the curtains of that game show Sand lines drawn in hope Time lines show the scope
Another fine piece of writing Kaan.I am sure it is appreciated by many other readers even though they fail to post any encouragement for your well thought out poems .Thanks.
"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
Toubab once again thanks for your generousity. I am sure people r busy during the current ramadan and have little time to indulge in reading poems etc. I also know that one should not expect all ones writings to be appreciated which ultimately serves as a catalyst for more efforts in improving output. It would be a folly on my part to expect more.
