Today, I watched the sad news of Israel and Ariel Sharon, my eyes teared up despite myself, my heart felt the pain of Israel while my head told me that this was a killer and a despicable man. But then I started to think..

Yes, Ariel Sharon, the butcher of Palestinian men, women and children in Shatila and Sabra camps in 1981, the instigator of the invasion of Lebanon, the father of Israeli illegal settlements, the man who even the hawkish Likud cabinet kicked out because they felt he had blood on his hands, ie moral responsibility for the massacres. The same Sharon who started the bloody second intifada, delivered a death blow to the much promising Oslo Accord now lies in a near death situation and Israelis are praying for a miracle, his deliverance.

Sharon now is somewhat of a changed man, after dealing death to Palestinians and I am convinced ordering the death of Arafat by the many means and methods at the disposal of the MOSSAD and CIA, Sharon removed settlers from Gaza and some token settlements in the West Bank, quit the extremist LIKUD and formed his own KADIMA - Change party to negotiate what he termed PEACE with SECUIRTY with Palestine. Sharon in a low key press address attributed his somewhat change to his son, OMRI, disgraced and resigned LIKUD MP, who he said showed him SHARON how not to see the world in BLACK and WHITE.

Sharon in a long bloody roundabout way it seems was inching daily to the reality that dawned on the BOERS and AFRIKAANERS, that Apartheid was doomed to failure and that African peoples will eventually win their freedom and rightful place. The Zionist leadership is also now reaching that crossroads, they know that the current state of things in Palestine/Israel cannot continue and KADIMA -Change is a must.

To understand Sharon, one must understand the history of the Zionist Movement and how HITLER's FINAL SOLUTION after centuries of pogroms and massacres in Europe convinced them that they must DESTROY or be DESTROYED. How the victims of NAZISM became the 21st Century last FACISTIC/NAZI REGIME, the WALL around WEST BANK replicating the BERLIN WALL.

I dont believe in collective guilt and just like not all Europeans took part in the enslaving, rape and pillage of Africa and other continents, not all JEWS practised or preached Zionism, or can be blamed for what happened to the unfortunate Palestinians, or Afrikaaners for what happened in South Africa, Namibia and the subregion during apartheid.

My eyes teared up today for Israel and poor Sharon, not for him but as a measure of my own humanity and I wonder, how sad and tragic it must be for a human soul to have reached that state where he believes that killing others, even bombing children, women, innocents is justified in the name of fighting "TERROR" forgetting that George Washington or even Sharon himself, when as a young member of Haganah was a terrorist.

I feel my tears were for poor Israelis and poor Palestinians caught in this vicious cycle of murder, mayhem and revenge. I pray God in His Infinite Mercy Resolves the problems of Israel and Palestine so mothers stop crying for their children, wives for their husbands and children for their fathers. May God Bring Peace to Palestine/Israel and the whole world.

Happy New Year Amna,

It's been along time since we've talked. Brother, I have no sympathy for Ariel Sharon whatsoever or the state of Israel. As they say "what goes around comes around." The only reason why his stroke is getting so much media coverage is because the Jews own a big percentage of the International media.

When I think about how his adminstration has dealt with the Palestinians, and how they treated Arafat. I have no sympathy for him. I just hope that sooner or later Israel comes out of its hatred, contempt and paranoia for its neighbours, and get of its bigoted high horse and stop perpetuating Nazism.

The Palestinians have the right to be free without any more repression from the Frankinstein of the Middle East.

Hello my dearest Sister Omega,

Happy New Year to you too..and it is always a pleasure reading your writings, heavy stuff. It seems we both still in the struggle against MIS EDUCATION and HIS-STORY.

I agree but I teared up because I cannot imagine living a life so full of hate and destruction. It is a common belief in our part of the Muslim world that before one dies, one relives all the horrors and mistakes one has committed and will try to plead for a chance to redeem oneslef but it is already too late..that one is dead 40 days before the actual and physical dead. The good people die serenely with the look of peace and joy as God Reveals to them their reward and the Bad die with a forlorn look of regret and horror as the reality of their errors dawn on them.

Some little bit of probably Senegambia Muslim belief. Happy New Year to you dear Sis and May God Bless all your endeavors.

Hi Amna,
thank you once again for teaching me something new about Senegambian muslim insight, it's a humbling concept. It just makes me ponder the question is this philosophy, a reflection of Senegambia culture prior to Islamist expansion? Because quite often religion fits onto culture as religion is an organisation of spiritual beliefs, where as culture reflects the essence of the people.

Hello Sister Omega,

Actually I still do alot of research on African traditional beliefs and practices. Sometimes I get a little sad but I try to appreciate all of humanity in all in facets.

For example, and you can google this, the prevalent concepts of monotheism have strong African roots, in Egypt/Kemit, Nubia-Cush and Ethiopia. The cross, the crescent and evn the word YWWH, in fact Yahweh was the name attributed to God by a monotheistic African ribe in Nubia/Cush.

All African religions have a strong concept of God, or a Supreme Deity. Our God was not unkind and can be interceded with. This God Did not in Greco-latin fashion cavort with earthly women. Africans saw the departed as being together and close to God and able to intercede and plead on behalf of their people. We also seem to have a cyclical view of life like the hindus] not linear and so some children or people do come and go. These people called "yaradal" were given unusual names, something that persists to this day.

Islam is not static and there are some Hadith [teachings of the Prophet] that state that all forms of worship were pure before time and human nature corrupted them so therefore some traditional practices were and are Islamic. Each practice is to be vetted and if not against Islamic stricture, then accepted. In fact Islam means "submission to God's Will" and even the moons, trees etc in doing what they are ordained are muslim "submitting or doi ng God's Will" That is sufic Islam sadly though the Western incubated and protected Wahabi/Salafist Saudi rigid Islam has been propaged by the West and the Western controlled media and now hopefully as these two ungodly allies engage in a struggle, the true Islam and even Christianity for that matter will emerge. This islam is as islamic as the slavers version of christianity.

I believe in the next decade, more of Africa will emerge as the darkness of the last 600 years finally gives way. Alot of our history is in Western museums, universities, archives and the Vatican [it is believed] but the steady drumbeat of time and changes in mentality and ideology bode well for all humanity.

Thanks always for illuminating discourse and God Bless.

Hi Amna thanks for you reply,

I am currently researching along those lines you have mentioned trying to cut through the illusions of false dichtomy perpetuated by pseudo christainity white washing concept. One of the most frustrating aspects of this world indoctrination of white supermacy is the deliberate distortion of Geography. However one can only spin an illusion for so long eventually the truth will prevail.
