I must agree with the statement made by one of the sentenced accused.

Toubab 1020, this reminds me of a movie I watched about a woman who was accused of killing her husband in a presumed boat accident. But the body of the dead husband was never found. She was tried in court and sentence to jail.

Whilst in prison the woman learned that her presumed dead husband was living in another place with a new identity. She escaped from prison, traveled to this place and carried out a devious plan in which she succeeded to kill her husband.

She was again brought before the court, and her defense was that she could not be charged twice for killing the same person. Double jeopardy. She killed the man once, she could not have killed him again the second time. She walked away free.

Maybe,BUT in England(UK) things have been modernised in the light of new scientific advances D.N.A, and the like.

However as these blokes appear to be the subject of an incompetent legal system after having been convicted and sentenced to 20 years inside, and not being tried on new evidence.
