This reminder of the law by a woman judge will defiantly cause alarm among the holders of traditional views and be seen as taking away their authority,I doubt if many of them are in favour of empowering women any further however that is the only way in which Gambia can become a fully functioning nation,in my opinion. However one paragraph in the article: "All government departments and public institutions should provide budgetary resources to implement and monitor this Act, Marie Saine added."
You will NO extra money has been listed as being earmarked for the additional costs of full implementation.
