Educate yourself for free on the world's best universities Two Stanford professors will revolutionize the world by offering free top qualifications through the Internet.
Normally it costs 230,000 dollars a year and is reserved for the world's best students. Now you can get it for free.
Via a new online system, people worldwide continue to take courses at a number of America's most prestigious universities. All you need is an internet connection.
"Today, top universities a great gift for a very few people. Now we can reach out to everyone. The world will be a better place, "said Andrew Ng, without a hint of evidence of exaggeration in his voice.

Innovation! Nothing is free but my guess is that they will earn somewhere else, most probably by selling the system/software to other institutions once proved to be applicable and running. Just look at Skype, Wikipedia, face book, Google etc..
The website is: https://www.coursera.org/

Toubab, here is a quote from Newsweek issue of May 14th 2012.
------start quote---------
Coursera doesn't pay its professors, and it has yet to dream up a way to generate revenue, though as Ng says, "If you're changing the lives of millions of people, there will be a way to make money from that at some point." One possibility involves charging companies for helping them find qualified joib applicants..
