Snippet from the D.O.
"Wednesday, April 18, 2012 A team of medical experts from Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital in India Tuesday discussed with the vice president and minister of Women’s Affairs, Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy, the possibility of establishing a super-speciality hospital in The Gambia."
Can this really be happening ? I remember saying a couple of years ago,"The Indians are coming" They have apparently cracked the Gambian system and want to progress and make business in Gambia, will they be allowed to ? Gambia can no longer rely on visits by Mercy ships and teams of specialists from other countries who visit and work from time to time to help out Gambia.

I think I am correct in saying the contract for 'The National Assembly Building' that is under contruction in Banjul is being done by Indians. It's a very large project with many Indians working there. |
