Frightening! A survey conducted among 500 members of the British Airline Pilots Association shows that 43 percent of all pilots in Britain had fallen asleep in the cockpit.

"European Aviation Safety Agency." From what the British pilots say the above is a misnomer. and yet another instance where european "regulators" have other matters in the forefront of their minds apart from the best safety that can be provided for passengers,although it is true to say that all modern aircraft are computer controlled leaving pilots very little to do except at take off and landings.
"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
