"At least 50 personnel working at the Port of Banjul, which is under the supervision and management of the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) were sacked from their respective positions last Friday.
The sacked officials, most of whom were members of the country’s security services mainly the NIA, NDEA, Police, Customs Department of the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) and GPA security guards were all attached to the Container Terminal at the Port of Banjul. "

I did not wish to be rude about Freedom News,an online newspaper,all information is useful, but confusing unsubstantiated information, published for reasons other that accurate NEWS reporting should be disregarded,however it is true that sometimes fringe sources can provide a scoop.
