From what I have read this is getting blown out of scale, here is a classic case of the Gambian "Don't Blame Me " culture, from what I understand the whole incident has escalated from complaints from reporting and office staff about perceived bad working conditions on the newspaper side of the enterprise, this appears to have been forgotten in some places, boiled down the question is,Were there in fact bad working conditions at the premises, and if so had "the management" been informed of those feelings before the petition that started the row was sent ,if they had not then the anger shown in some places MAY be justified if not, and the conditions were bad then "someone" is responsible and should accept that responsibility for their shortcomings for not solving the problem. Not complicated at all in fact, simple.

Toubab 1020. What have you gathered so far on alleged "BAD WORKING CONDITIONS" not sincerely addressed by Foroyaa and its management not dealing with staff concerns

The Freedom news is very useful on "Signed Petition" and proceedings of what actually transpired? PLEASE RE-VISIT IT AND FOROYAA'S REACTIONS TO SET RECORDS STRAIGHT?

THE COMPLICATIONS CAME ABOUT BECAUSE OF TRAITORS OR BETRAYAL OF HIGHEST ORDER, "CLANDESTINE" INTRUDERS, MALICIOUS SMEARING CAMPAIGN, CYBER TERRORISM AND FOROYAA/PDOIS BITTERLY FIGHTING ITS ENEMIES TO PROTECT ITS INTEGRITY, ASSETS AND TREASURES, THEY WORKED VERY HARD TO BUILT

Kobo,I am not knocking anyone,I was not there to observe for myself, BUT, the cause of all this is,were the conditions bad or not?all the rest is about creditability,if the answer to that is YES,then it should have been resolved by the person responsible,if the answer is NO,then it is a bad case of total mischief making and character damage, which of course, if you are involved in politics, public and political perception of you or your party is very very important .

Toubab 1020. Your observations are highly appreciated and you get valid points. Much more interesting are lively exchanges, interactions and engaging each other (on ideas and sense of perception); or give and take basis!

Foroyaa managed the staff complaints and internal crises accordingly? However the moral position taken by Foroyaa/PDOIS was exerting or exercising vigilant against external forces (agents and its insider collaborators) inviting mischief, malicious threats and smearing campaign to bring them down; in my opinion

KOBO, Thanks,I can give no more input that I have, as I said I am not in a position to write about anything other than what I have read, because I was not there when all this took place,it is evident though that some feel very personally hurt about what is being gossiped about concerning them,if untrue then they have good reason.
I say again I was not there and rely on published accounts, nothing more, I am therefore unable to vouch for the veracity of anything concerning this affair other than give my own opinion.

dBaldeh has opened discussions on Gambia-L and in meantime enjoy the link here, before I came back to address divorcing Foroyaa from PDOIS and making it a commercial news business entity and any preposterous demand? An outcry for Suntou Touray and mainly very popular amongst the jealous for what pioneers of PDOIS/FOROYAA built with success; to enjoy fruits of their labour and sacrifices

As I have written before Kobo, somewhere on bantaba, I don't know where , it's difficult for me, as a toubab to understand,I have enjoyed our exchange of views on this, but that's enough for me,let some of the others join in ,I am out of here

Toubab 1020. You made that observation out of ignorance of what's prevailing within Gambian community and we had exchanges briefly on issue of "separation"; but there are citizens that are aware of nature of Gambian politics, roles of PDOIS/Foroyaa and who its pioneers are for nationhood and community development but would always want to strip or deny them of privileges, merits, credibility and good public relations deserved? They (PDOIS) are confronted with political rivalry, political feuds, political enemies, tribalist haters, enemies of progress and other malicious destructive forces
