On recent web radio show, a presenter staked considerable amount of money for anyone who is able to confirm seeing Yaya Jammeh praying before his coming to power by coup. Nobody seemed to have seen the grand marabout ever praying. From the BBC interview where Jammeh declared he will rule Gambia for one billion years, he claimed he is a Muslim. Many people ask the question about grand Jammeh's true belief. Is he one of those terrorists who want to see all their enemies dead ? Is he a Muslim fundamentalist on the jihad to kill every person seen as enemy of Gambia and his wonderful stone age development ? Now to the genuine question: Did Jammeh convert to Islam and when ?
