we have been so busy the subject of studying hasn't come up we are pretty much going to be busy every moment for the rest of the year! i have no idea whether he is interested in further study or not so i will ask. he is way ahead of me with speaking different languages - i'm afraid i don't have a natural ability to learn, although i really want to.

i am a computer studies teacher so in the evenings i will be able to give some time to anyone wants to study. i've just finished an english teaching certificate too.

kondorong - perhaps it is human nature to want what we haven't got!

That is the spice of life. Necessity is the mother of invention. Certainly man always wants what they dont have and value less what they already have. There is nothng wrong with that. It enables us to work harder to get to some other level.

If you wished you ahd a lof of bread for breakfast and suddenly not only have a loaf but also some sardines, eggs and Jumbo, you all of a sudden wished you had more. Man is created insatiable and the only time we are at peace with WANT, IS when we die.

There is a story about Iblish (satan) in the Quran. When God created Adam and was in a clay form(very dry and hard) God asked all the angels to bow down to Adam only satan refused. However when he looked at the shape of the clay, he said i dont know what God whats to make of this clay but when ever it gets life, its stomach area will rule him for all his life. Ceratinly Satan was right, man has always been eager to want to satisfy this need.

Go for Moongaden. Opportunities knock but once. It does not matter where you are educated, but what you do with your education.

sharon - thank you so much for the information. i couldn't get your link to work so i googled it and found the website to be very helpful.

http://www.iasuk.org/

perhaps i should post a new thread with this link in the first post because its now on the fourth page of this one. perhaps it would make a sticky thread as i'm sure many other people could benefit from this information. i'm not sure which forum to post in?

kondorong - my grandmother used to say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach - if you cook well he will love you for it.

i also believe the teaching that the more you own the more difficult it becomes to see the right path.

also that when you are helped along the road you must remember that you are also there to help others.
