Is Gambian dictator Jammeh dragging Gambia to a sad end like this ? Was this man (Qaddafinot the most stubborn out of control terrorist some time until now ? Remember Jammeh learnt his ways from Qaddaffi. He may be pretending to see his master killed but worried secretly where that places him as good friend of a dictator with whom he has done so much.

Good details there Momodou. So much for dictators of all fabrics to learn from. They can delay but not deny the inevitable. Dictators around the world will be weeping in silence. Sad end for Qaddafi with clear message to dictators around the world.

Another dictator has bitten the dust. It is always true that the evil that men do will always live with them. The one time powerful Ghadaffi, King of Kings as he fondly envisaged is now history. Factually true to conclude that the dictators are on the disappearance, one by one. The decade is not supportive to any form of dictatorship. It is a clear lesson to the remaining dictators and their breeds alike. While I am truly saddened by the destruction of life and property registered in Libya by the clash of the forces, for once I am happy that Ghadaffi is out of the equation for ever.

Thanks for sharing Karamba. Will Yaya Jammeh learn any lesson from this? Apparently not!

He was caught alive but why was he killed, instead of arresting him and handed over to NTC

Mawdo Kobo,

I am no expert in this. I just wanted to position that justice should have been the order of the day. Such is hardly achieved under the given situations. When it gets to the point where people are fed-up and angry, mob justice takes precedence. Ghaddafi reaped what he sow. He should have left at the get-go, and avoid getting Libya into a turmoil. While I wish justice was administered, I am in no way in any form or shape sympathetic to his ending. It applies to the rest of their dictator breeds as well. For all the harm they've done to their people of terror, injustice, and mayhem, at least others can also see them ooze in blood. This doesn't balance the equation in any shape or form, but it will signal a strong message to any aspiring dictator or their current breeds around. I tell you dictatorship or iron-fist rulling truly hurts. Leaders are supposed represent their people with good ears. instead of being good leaders, they come in their chameleon uniforms, exploit resources, and further muzzle opinion. They don't stop at that. They will kill, torture, jail and maim many innocent citizens, most of whom are just plain ordinary citizens who committed no crime in any shape or form. The price in equity for doing the above is exactly what happened to Ghaddafi. Over the years, he enjoyed the attention, while crowing himself a hero or some whatnot creature. So time has proven itself right. He was just a human being like any of us. He wasn't better in any shape or form.

Anyway, thanks for the lines....and he can deal with the after world. For those that are coming, I hope they learn from what happened. Term limits to the presidency and alleged crimes should be investigated. No state terror on innocent citizens, and that is a big NO!

Yero.

Filtering through comments over various sources, it appeares as though there was no command given to kill Qaddafi. According current Libya government sources, the killing was not what they intended.

That apart, dictators hardly end up nice.

Curious to enquire how some of Gadaffi old friends would be feeling. One time best friend of our own captain, although they never end it in peace, but they were birds of a feather.

According what one of the July Revolution key figure said, the idea of forming a party now called APRC was conceived in Libya. Does anyone have further information on that?

MIRROR Gaddafi dead: Children queue to see tyrant's corpse as Libya celebrates his death

SUN NEWSPAPER;

1. Teenager: I killed Colonel Gaddafi

2. Chilling visit to Gaddafi’s grisly corpse - Gold gun, a prayer... and 'lucky antelope'

"Among them is a black magic charm, a curse or prayer written on paper and wrapped in sticky tape.

Several rebels say that when Gaddafi was discovered he was crouching over a severed antelope's head — a black magic rite he believed would protect him from Nato's bombs."

"In 2010 Gaddafi offered to invest $97 billion in Africa to free it from Western influence on condition that African states rid themselves of corruption and nepotism.

Gaddafi always dreamed of a developed, United Africa and was about to make that dream come true - and nothing is more terrifying to the West than a developed United Africa.

Here is a selection of the initiatives Libya has already put in place in Africa, as well as some of the projects it is planning, explaining why the West’s illegal war against Libya also is a war against entire Africa.

AFRICAN UNION: Libya is one of the biggest contributors to the budget of the African Union. A Libyan diplomat told Reuters that Libya is one of five countries — the others are Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa — which cover 75 percent of the Union’s budget.
“Libya makes its full required contribution to AU funds. Not all countries do and that buys it influence,” a senior African Union official said.

GAMBIA: Libyan firms own two hotels and the “Dream Park” entertainment centre in Gambia. Gambian agriculture has received support from Libya, including a donation of seven new tractors.

In 2009 Gaddafi gave two camels to Gambian President Yahya Jammeh as a gift. The Libyan and Gambian presidents have exchanged visits and senior Gambian officials attended ceremonies in September to mark the anniversary of Gaddafi coming to power. "

Over 60% of Libyans are considered poor. Before thinking of Africa why not end poverty in Libya first? Sometimes the empty anti-West nonsence is cheap. The West always look out for their own, whilst all our guys do is blame the West.
Gaddafi has caused the death of so many Africans, his blood money is surplus to requirement. Remember Charles Taylor, Foday Sankoh?
