Santa your poem is very good pointing out certain lacks in our African persona which if not fixed would leave us in the ditch like a very funny says we would be left behind by the bus! I agree with many of your observations perhaps we are coming into a period of awakening now that communities in most cities have started gathering on special occasions to either celebrate or organise activities unique to their home or group needs , a way forward may some how evolve, is it urgent for us to do so now ? My sincere reply would yes . Is it too little too late I surely think not inshallah we will make it . Keep it up brother your crusade is a good one! Du courage as they say in French
Thanks Kaaniba. Whilst other African countries are saying no to tyrants and dictatorship and welcoming the unstoppable agenda for regular change of leaders, Gambians are largerly inactive even in the election time. If we in diaspora get on our phones and makes calls, people will go out and vote.Without justice and fairness in our countries, how can we claims such rights abroad. Unless, criminal governance is stopped peacefully, we Gambians will continue to be laughted at in the world. Let us now get active and play our part in making Gambians vote for the opposition. God bless.
