As in a dream I see you Angela Walking through the streets Holding hands with me Pretty Angela Angela ! My sweet heart Angela
And in that dream You look so sweet and tender Whenever you chose to laugh Your teeth shine as stars Calming me down so well I keep seeing your face Even with eyes closed Angela !Oh Angela ! My pretty Angela Please stay Angela
Any body who sees Angela Beholds a star of stars Charming lady of dreams Oh lovely lady Angela My sweetie Angela Sweet heart Angela Please don't go away Angela ! Stay the night with me To calm me down my dear With you so very near Oh sweetness Angela Angela ! My darling Angela
But like all dreams The subject fades away When you wake up from sleep But your sweet face stays with me Till we meet again My sweet girl Angela Angela ! I promise Angela

Deeply touching Kaanibaa. If this is a moment of parting, may the most consoling angels of paradise keep Angela in blissful wake. It is always refreshing to get your light and power flowing. This one is really touching as many others you served. |

Actually it is a musically inspired write up following a kora song "Haandola" in our mix of cultural exposes back home. Karamba ; am sure will remember that and singing haandola in mandinka would evoke these similar lines except that the words here are mine's but the flow is in tandem with that beautiful song. Sorry if I have misled any one as it is for me ,nothing to do with parting as am so comfortable in that domain right now ~touch wood~ yes no worries in the romantic zone for now . Cheers any way. As for the silence I am worried that we are heading for gloom in the home front as I can predict another woeful failure in our quests for change there.Ergo my deep silence.Perhaps I am a coward or simply put weak in those directions but fear of failure is real for me right now. Can the politicos predict victory for any kind of challenge come the next elections ? methinks the answer would be a resounding no considering........? |

Good to know that all is going well Kaanibaa. About the election or selection, I share your concerns too. It is not so much because the rest are not good at running the race. They tracks are so badly obstructing with thorns all around. The unrealistic designer of the tracks is making sure that none other than him is free enough to run through. The road is near but hard to journey through.
Not to give up everything, there is light to follow the longest dark night. Excess injustice breeds excess impatience. That in turn excess retaliation.
Thank you Kaanibaa for bringing to light the rich sensations of traditional Mandinka values. |

Thanks Toubab, I cannot fault your vision in these perspectives as indeed a writing can be percieved and decoded by any reader and come up with valid view points on such writings, so if you felt that as a reader I can see where you stand. I however with all sincererity declare that on that particular front I am well and truly happy as I write this reply so worries at all. I also appreciate the deep feeling you had for me even though I was in no such distress as it where , but thanks any way.Brother Karamba I am a simple man with very modest views about possibilities as far as our political situation is concerned. As I see the current political landscape it seems to me and I hasten to add that this might be due to my ardent wish for a change ; that the chances for such change are very slim considering that the candidates or prospective opponents do not seem to be willing to compromise on issues relevant or irrelevant; which to me is banal due to our situation as at now and so leave the field for a free for the imcumbent to grab all.If we say the field is not level it also true that the so called opponents too are not being realistic and mature in their current tackling of the situation at hand and the chances are fast slipping away.I still want to beleive like you and others that common sense will prevail and bring them together for a change now as it is urgent that they do so. |
