It was Libya's Gadaffi from whom Jammeh of Gambia learnt everything about politics of their style and nature. In 42 years Gadaffi became not just wealthier but he crushed his people to levels much like Jammeh does Gambian people with iron fist dictatorship.
From what became of Gaddaffi it is clear to Jammeh and those in the same league of bad governance that their game too will not last good.
Libya has so much in resources and lot of money in foreign banks. unless the Gaddaffi fighters refuse to settle the dispute, Libya may return to normal as oil money flows everywhere.
Does Jammeh learn from Gaddaffi ? Where Jammeh fails to do so, will Gambians have to wait till Jammeh plunges the nation into Libya type ? A letter writer appealed to Jammeh's wife so that they leave in peace time rather wait till troubles grow bigger.
When Jammeh falls like Gaddaffi not only his immediate opponents will rejoice. The secret opponents too will have a field day. Any lessons for the wise ?
