JOLLOF NEWS A Feel of Paradise on ‘The Smiling Coast’ of West Africa
"From Banjul, Brufut, Senegambia to other parts of the country, culture and history speak in a unifying and most importantly, entertaining tone. You will be more than convinced that the country is truly, ‘the smiling coast of West Africa.’ The country is a perfect example of ‘unity in diversity’ with her seven tribes living in harmony with no form of religious violence, despites its 80 percent Muslim population, while the high regard for tourists by both locals in the hinterland and civilised ones in cities is worth appreciating." NOTED FROM ABOVE AND VERY NICE COMPLIMENT

Kobo, the compliment is deserved, but if the regions want progress there is VERY much work to do, RELIABILITY and HONESTY in all dealings with everyone are VITAL. |
"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.

The build up regarding the entertainment on the strip at Senegambia for me is most disappointing yes the beaches are great the jewel in the crown but as depicted have you ever seen camel rides on the beaches because I haven’t
They state its one of the safest places in the world Maybe it used to be when I first went there many years ago. But not now I’m very wary at night times’ when going out There again the worlds not a safer place Google the safest places and it comes up with 10 countries not Gambia
Quotes
There is something about The Gambia that remains appealing to a first-time visitor. Its unassuming demeanour that reflects in its triple attractions - sand, sea and sun - that attract foreigners, especially from Europe who throng in their thousands to explore them for holiday The first thing to notice immediately you alight from the aircraft at Banjul International Airport is some kind of unpretentious YOUR KIDDING ITS MURDER
You will be more than convinced that the country is truly, ‘the smiling coast of West Africa.’ The country is a perfect example of ‘unity in diversity’ with her seven tribes living in harmony with no form of religious violence VERY TRUE AND A CREDIT TO THE POPULATION
This among others, accounts for why the country attracts over 500,000 tourists annually NOT TRUE Please refer to my posting TOURIST FIGURES Last years 92000 and its not just the recession it’s been in decline year on year it has never reached 500000
But a day in Sheraton Gambia is worth a month stay because it is a secluded paradise with golden sands and beautiful surroundings that make relaxation among stunning palms and exotic Baobab trees a luxurious experience SEE ABOVE
You cannot afford to miss a visit to the Makasutu Culture Forest housing over 15,000 special trees, over 500 monkeys, rare birds and other wildlife Finally they say it has unparelered Development in West Africa THAT’S RUBBISH TAKE GHANA TO NAME BUT ONE COUNTRY IN WEST AFRICA LEADING THE WAY IN DEVELOPMENT AND DEMOCROSY.
OK lets cut the chase, Do a survey of why do most people go to the Gambia SAND SEA AND SUN and only 6 hours from Europe PERIODE
