First let me state Im not a political animal. With all politicians the one thing you can believe is when they open their mouths all you are going to get is a load of bull Sh**.
From what I read about Gambia is that there is no competent opposition party that can take over from Jemmeh Even if there was the average Gambian is not interested
Which I think is proved by the low turn out of the population in past elections
Correct me if I’m wrong
Even if there was a competent opposition party would things change for the average Gambian? I don’t think so
I think even if Jemmeh was deposed you would just end up with another despot only interested like all politions is what’s in it for them. My heart goes out to the Gambian people
P.S I hate politics

More people registered to vote in 2011 than ever before. So let us not blow-out this low voter turn-out thing of 2006.

Thanks

I do not oppose unity but I oppose dumb union.

Thats good news Lets hope the momentum is kept up and it will be interesting to see what percentage of the population who are eligable to vote actualy turn out on voteing day.
Question Is the election day going to be monitored by an outside agency and when is election day ?

both the commonwealth and the European union have shown interest in monitoring the polls. I am sure AFRICAN organisations like the AU and ecowas will do the same.

cheers
