To threaten people that unless they vote for national development benefits will not reach them is gross irresponsibility on the part of a sitting president. This national position of president is not inherited by family succession. Therefore Jammeh is seen to be irresponsible threatening people the way he just did.

Directly interpreted Moe, this means total rejection. The truth is though, Jammeh already overstayed his unwelcome occupation. A truly gentle person would graciously step out. Self perpetration only breeds trouble.

Total rejection of what? for that makes his statements and stance on development VALID. If you don't vote for his party then you are rejecting development or representation.........................Peace

Moe, people don't eat development as bread and butter. There are over One Million Gambians to do the same development work. Jammeh came to power through a disorderly process (coup)

Haviong stayed for more than 17 years is enough for a gentle exit. What is his motivation to persist staying for life ? Long after he is gone, Gambians will still carry on. Where is sekou Toure, Samuel Doe, Idi Amin, and many more? All these and others like them also thought only them could advance their nations to the moon. It never happen. Therefore Jammeh can do so much and leave the rest to "history and destinty."
