Kobo, Are you saying when other tribes like wollof, fuls and the like accuse Mandingos of keeping Yahya Jammeh power, it is ok because they are non UDP but the moment a Mandingo says something and that Mandinko is a known UDP, it is tribalist? yOU ARE SICK Bamba mass i belief is a mandinka who want his tribe to realise the hatred Yahya had against them and calling on them to realise such. You above piece is only playing on the tyrant who you have never criticised. I am on record accusing you of being an agent of the tyrant despite you sometimes parrade yourself as a PDOIS or NADD champion. I agree with Bambs Mas AND Leave Mandinkas to sort their own proplem and don't poke your nose into it because you have no clue |

kOBO, Do you listen to freedom? Pa ndery said Mandinkas need to leave your prophet Yahya Jammeh! Then what is wrong if Bamba Mass said Mandinkas are the problem? Is it because he is UDP? And any thing a UDP guy says is tribalist? |

I say Zero tolerance to tribalistic politics. It is foolishly destructive fragmentism leading to destruction. Yet again some zealots will do anything for a bit of fleeting popularity. Gambia's diversity is its strength not its weakness. So pitting one ethnic group against the other is stupid.

I Couldn't agree more, sister omega. At last I have something in common with you. Great posting but if you continue like this, soon we won't have anything to argue about. That is likely to make toubab bored.
Thanks |

Guy, Anybody who advocates tribalism is stupid and should be condemned by all with human brains. This should be every one's bottom line! But the fact is those who accused Mr Mass of tribalism are themselves tribalists because if all Gambians cannot condemn the tribslistic nature of a leader who should be seen as president of the whole Gambia rather a president who would boast on national television that I would develop kanilai and my family would never be poor and out of all deportees 90% are members of the mandingo tribe. My friends if we fear God what is more tribalist than this. Yet the likes of champion Kobo and moe have never been on coate condemning such neither any Bamtaba subscriber. I find that very disturbing. I think Mr. Bamba has a point maybe though he reated bluntly. |

My survey last time I was in proved that mandinkas tend to be more assertive to be an opposition more, and UDP. Their main justification for this is that 'they are the majority but their power is not reflected on the government power balance'.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |
