Folks, we are once again awakened by the sad death of Jainaba Manneh of Sukuta. Jainaba was in her teenage age. She was a daughter of my neighbor and brother, Babucarr Manneh of Minnesota ( also niece to Sister Fatou Jaw Manneh of Maafanta). By coincidence Babucarr has been on a visit to the Gambia and witnessed the sad incidence. Jainaba was peacefully interned in the Gambia on Monday June 6th 2011.
May the Good Lord Allah (SWT) accept her in the highest heaven. (AMEN!).
