The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) has confirmed the arrest of four of its officers by the police for allegedly torturing one Cherno Alieu Suwareh, leading to his death.

They are Eco Grant, Ebou Lowe, Abdoulie E. Jallow and Mattar Sey Jawo.

Confirming the story yesterday, NDEA public relations officer ASP Abdoulie Ceesay said the four officers were called by the police on Thursday in connection with the alleged torture of one Cherno Alieu Suwareh, who was detained in their custody.

This is really sad... given that most serious drug dealers enter some form of plea bargains.

These clowns should free up the cannabis and concentrate their efforts on pressing issues.
