'Time Is On Gadhafi's Side'

Egyptians who fled the violence in Libya wait for a flight home in Tunisia.
The West has no stomach for military intervention in Libya, but also no clear ideas about ending the crisis before it becomes a full-fledged civil war. German commentators argue that the international community needs to act quickly.....

Is this about Qaddafi, Libya, Africa, Arab, Oil, or what? Already in Africa, equally hostile and cruel persons like what is happenning in Ivory Coast, Gambia, Sudan, and other places warrant INTERVENTION from the big family of mankind; the UN, NATO, African Union, and all those countries and international organisations. If the Chief International Prosecutor is considering to place Qaddafi in the dock for CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY, that opens the gates of Hague for new entrants like Yaya Jammeh of Gambia, Omar Bashirr of Sudan, Gbagbo of Ivory Coast, and lot more. THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY has to play it fairest to be taken serious.

Human suffering in one end of the universe is still human suffering. Or, is this about how the other half dies?

Karamba, without something like the conflict in Libya which has generated worldwide attention some of the other leaders that you mention are very unlikely to appear in the dock at the Hague.

Karamba, there is a lot of hypocrisy in the world politics. Is it just now the ICC is realising that Gadafi and his family might have caused crimes against humanity?

Just yesterday the BBC reported that security forces in Ivory Coast had shot at least six women during pro-Ouattara march. The other day I read that UN forces were also shot at and yet we have not seen any mobilisation for action.

It's all about national interests.

Rightly put Momodou, the International Community or shall we say International Justice is some times reduced to Personal Injustice.

Toubab1020, crime against humanity is abundant.

There's always been a load of hypocrisy in world politics. The only difference now is that we are able to see it.

One problem is the size of Lybia, how do you keep your "forces" supplied ? can you afford to split forces from areas that you hold already without putting your own forces at risk from SOME of the population?

World politics, and people's power which one is greater? I belief nation citizens should stand together against any brutal regime.Like in the Gambia Jammeh has brought in Cassamance machineries to brutalize his own citizens those who can't even speak English. This world is full of surprises. When Jammeh came to power, I remember the young thin poor racked young leutinants parading the McCarthy Squire(now July 22nd Squire) walking in the rain as liberators and holding hands with endless promises. Now that same man after betraying all his helpers could come so low boasting he would kill to stay in power when he in fact accused Jawara for staying too long in office thus encouraging corruption.
Oh Jammeh, Oh Jammeh I wish history to judge you according to how you action speak.
