I know this has been asked before but I donīt find the answers. A Gambian friend of mine needs to go to the Gambia in January, probably for a long time. Only flight from Stockholm/Sweden is with SN Brussels for about 700-800 GBP, which is a lot of money for someone with a low income. As it sometimes is possible to go to London/Stanstedt at a very low cost I have been trying to find fligts from London as they are supposed to be cheaper. Is that so and how to find them? Preferably a single ticket. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
Kiwi. You'd probably be better to get him to Gatwick and buy a late holiday deal from there. You can get 7 days hotel inc flights from Gatwick for Ģ240 if you book late. Maybe if he can standby for a late deal it can be done. Try this travel agent as they always have Gambian deals in their windows. You may need to call them rather than find it online and remember these late deals go right up till the plane takes off.
Have you checked the good old Ving and Always? They usually have flights from Sthlm to Banjul costing 4990 SEK (about Ģ360), or even less if itīs a late deal.
No flights are available from Stansted to The Gambia. Flight only with Thomas Cook to The Gambia in November was Ģ99 return. Next week one way ticket flight is Ģ40 again with Thomas Cook. Believe it is from East Midlands Airport. Good luck www.thomascook.co.uk
