The lump jutting affront
Oozing filth unabated
The stench of which assail
The creature comforts of all
Safe those who chose to pretend
Yes safe as in saving the skin
That putrid smell cannot be masked
But some would call that a natural scent
As that of a rose
Harken to the hypocrites !
Trail the tacit endorsements
Sat on their pedestals
With bare bottoms
In false pretence
Making claims to nonchalance
While in private
Shimmer with fury
Knowing all laugh at their folly
A day will come sooner
Than they expect
Exposing their sordid acts
That would be a fine day
For the wicked
To lick the wounds
Of aggression
Their snouts squeezed
Like those of slain pigs
Ready for the roast pot
Candidates abound as
The search ends
Chosen are the ones
Set to shine
The defaulters
Named and shamed
Shall with lowered heads
Face the music of revenge
Or will it be a mere telling-off
Whatever it is
Is what is should be
Until that day
We shall know no peace
We shall see no justice
But confidence in the face
Of adverse motions
Will lead us on to that day

I can understand and visulise all the thoughts that have passed through your mind when writing it. |
