My husband is looking for a flight Banjul to Manchester toward the end of Jan/beginning of Feb
Thomas cook advertised a flight for £93 on their web site, this is not bookable on line or through Thomas cook in the UK, they advised to contact Thomas cook in Gambia.
When my husband called them in Gambia they quoted 15,670 Dalasi, what a rip off approx £300 more than the UK advertised flight which isn't bookable in the first place!
Gambia experience were quoting about 16,500.
Why is is once you have paid a fortune and gone through a lot of paperwork to get a visa that you then have to pay 4 times the price to actually fly out of the country?!
It is illegal to buy a return from UK then not take the flight out and the return flight would get cancelled so this is not an avenue to go down!
On principle my husband doesn't want to pay these hiked up fares equal to an annual salary in Gambia!
Anyone any ideas of where to get a cheaper flight?
