Come 2018 Jammeh should hand pick Lamin WAA Juwara and personally make sure he has all the coaching and training to evolve as one of Africa's finest leaders. After all he has all it takes to be a LEADER.
This is just hypothetically speaking, Juwara just might be ineligible for the presidency but all am saying is despite the defamation by the witches of cyberspace, This is a man who served his nation at all capacities, a legacy that can never be denied or refuted. Juwara never joined the APRC as the political fools assumed, but it is imperative to understand his reasoning and the precedent being set. The Gambian opposition should work hand in hand with the ruling government for the sake of National interest if it is of any interest to them.
Coming back to Juwara and his leadership traits, he is one of the few Gambians who came to terms with the understanding that the political landscape was shaky and various individuals with political interest were involved in a changing political landscape. Its funny that the torture allegations against Mr Juwara was perpetrated by a man who had political ambitions and its clearly stated that the torture meted at Waa was the work of Mr Baba Jobe.
The State can be accused of complicity in most or all these allegations but the fact remains that Gambians have a better understanding of the Psycho's within them. Crimes are committed daily under the guise of institutions by unscrupulous individuals at all levels and it seems everyone is more focused on the States involvement failing to question the reasoning behind the acts. Personally speaking after 16 years of visionary leadership Mr Jammeh should focus on backtracking from his active rule. He should hand over power to Mr Juwara on a silver platter for the man has the traits of a true leader. A Man capable of not letting torture or intimidation stop him from participating in the development of his nation. He is one of the few Gambians who can forgive and forget if you ask me.
Revenge is not an option in Gambia and from what I see and know if Jammeh was ever to consider relinquishing Power his security should surpass that of the presidency at all times. Here is a State where heads of institutions are questioned by the state in regards to disappearances of Agents and complicity in disappearances but no one sits to consider the implications. Blaming Jammeh or his government is the biggest joke of the century, not when the unprofessional half baked human rights activist and so called journalist wannabe's have managed to destroy the image of their country in a bid for cheap popularity. The way I see it if Mr Jammeh wants to avoid discredit for establishing solid institutions, setting the pace for steady development and growth he needs to relinquish power to someone who can be trusted, non other than a true visionary democratic leader Mr Waa Juwara.
Jammeh can in no way be blamed for the deteriorating political situation in the country my friends, President Jammehs transformation from a military dictator to a democratic ruler should encourage Gambians to sustain the current democratic system in the country meanwhile building stronger institutions to foster democracy. Since their arrival they have been embarked on Building stronger institutions in a bid to safe guard the rights of citizens. Building strong institutions is the only answer for a true democratic nation. In my opinion Gambia had the weakest institutions in West Africa prior to the coming of the APRC and that is a fact.
Todays Gambia sets precedence for War torn nations to observe and take notes this much I can assure ya'll. Most of these cyber imbeciles will sit here and scream change by all means not understanding how the reversal of democracy will be detrimental for all Gambians and the rest of it's neighbors who often depend on Gambia for important precedents taking Guinea Bissau and Liberia as casing points. Jammeh might have been a soldier but the fact remains that he successfully oversaw a democratic transition and used the ballot box to legitimize his government.
Jammehs government in my opinion initiated and implemented programs/institution that were much needed in the Gambia. If the president ever considered relinquishing power the next Gambian president preferably the most sophisticated politician in the Gambia Mr Juwara needs to have a clear understanding that other Presidents ought to disabuse their minds that they have to be Presidents or they are nothing as if it was written on stone. As Jammeh has done with former President Jawara, former Presidents should be honoured to encourage sitting Presidents to relinquish power and the goal of any sitting government is to have a Presidential term limit in the constitution.I said 2018 simply because Jammeh needs to hold on to power till the demise of the relics and remnants of backward politics ,Bokarr Sey , Matthew Baldeh, Falai Baldeh, Prof Saine and the rest of the vulture, they must all be ineligible citizens for they are a security threat, Mai Fatty included.........................................................Peace

Elections, hello! Otherwise, if getting flogged is the yardstick for inheriting the Gambian Presidency, then Waa Juwara is a viable candidate. His scars bear witness it that. Elections, where are U...................................................................lol??? |

It's not about getting flogged, Thats someone's father you are looking at, a role model to others. He bares the scars of the true nature of the Average Gambian. Gambians should be ashamed of their rhetoric and mass propaganda. Reducing people who served their nations and baring the scars of intolerance into unworthy citizens is unacceptable and uncalled for. Ask anyone of these backward degenerates and non will be able to tell you why Mbarodi is a toothless Lion or Green snake under green grass as he has been termed. Gambians especially generation X'ers are a curse to the Nation. How can someone be hurt so badly and and the message from the people is that he is a turned coat politician. Of course most of these cyber parrots know nothing absolutely about politics and their standards are obviously based on prehistoric times, kinda Jurassic............................Peace quote: Originally posted by Kitabul Arerr
