quote: Last, brutal regimes like The Gambia's always feel tempted to use their latest “toys” on helpless, defenseless members of their own socities. Saddam Hussein, after successfully concoting mustard gas with the connivance of his henchman “Chemical Ali” (Ali Hassan Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti), mercilessly used it against innocent Kurds in 1988. Had the 13 containers of weapons arrived at Banjul port, it is a forgone conclusion that civilians would have absorbed the deadly consequences of their use by overzealous APRC enforcers masquerading as dispensers of public law and order.
I like the creative piece of fiction you wrote in your blog. |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Turk, you know I am here to entertain you with facts even if you tragically mislabel them as "fiction." One fine day, you'll eventually come around. |

I do not see the comparison you have done, for example, 'Mandinka fighting for Independence' or Christian autonomous desire in Gambia. I don't even see, there is any potential separatist, rebel against or any kind of standing up the current regime. Majority of Gambians are supporting the current president. And not having violent tendency one of the most important strength of Gambian society. Can you relate some recent 'facts' that potentially we will experience 'bosnia', 'iraq', 'sudan', 'israel' type of events in Gambia. It looks fiction to me, you got to convince me that there is potential 'rebelious' movement in Gambia. |

Turk,
May I ask what blog have you been reading? Are you sure you have been going to www.escapefrombanjul.blogspot.com ? My take on the shipped weapons possibly being used against Gambian citizens falls within the context of students murdered by police in 2000, Gambian soldiers wantonly murdered in the name of quelling a coup in November 1994 and so forth.
Please tell me you "get it" now because I hate having to coach and babysit you as you read my wonderful and highly sophisticated articles. |

Oh, I thought you are talking about chemical warfare, tanks, biological warfare, weapons of mass destruction. In order to murder civilians in your example students, equipment and training Gambia has, suffice. I see this is another attempt to exaggerate. I found your comparison of Gambian regime some kind of massacre like in Iraqi Kurds, or internal war like Sudan, a fantasy. I don't even hear the fear-mongering like this from the opposition in Gambia. You must see something they don't. |

For now I will satisfactory say this is Watchman's phenomenological ultra reality. Apart from the cyber Almoudous this reality is only unique to Watchman, for the puzzle seems to be missing crucial parts.Turk he ain't exaggerating he is just spicing it up a little or may be a lot if you pushing me .............Peacequote: Originally posted by turk
