I thought Thailand and Cambodia were cheap last year Befor I went to New Zealand and Australia But the Philppines are silly cheap, you get 65 to 68 pesos to the £
So here are some prices
Beer a 300ML bottle 40 an up depends of the type of estabishment you are in Local shops 1000ML bottle 60 Good beer San Miguel Bottle of Pepsi or Coke 7 to 20 Cigarettes 40 for a packet of 20 Food Cafes 120 for a decent meal Restruants 250 and up again depending on the type of establisment you are in. But average 250 and you get a good meal for that. Massage 150
Transport is cheap and the taxis are good not like what you get in the main in Gambia all are modern clean and well maintainare . Local type buses called Jeepneys simular to what ply the roads in Gambia 10 pesos and for that u can travel say the deistance from Kololi to the airport The shopping Malls are as good as what I have seen in America and the main one in Cebu city is amasing better than anything I have seen in England and all in a poor country amasing
Accmodation Pension houses Guest Houses B&B and Hotels 2 to 5 star. Like any where u can negociate for long term stay. Im staying in what I would say 2/3 star at 15000 per month just over £50 per week.
I have previously stated where Im going but dicided to finish of and go back to Gambia to see friends and get back to England end of April
