Yes Kobo! We miss folks like Babylon, Serenata, Anna, kaanibaa, Janko, Hiz Princess, taalibeh, Concort, kassma, Sibo, kisley, Nyancho and many others I have not mentioned too.
Toubab1020 perhaps tired of all the politicos or is enjoying him/herself somewhere. |

Good Morning Koto Kobo et al. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I have been very busy of late. admittedly, I missed a lot of threads online, though, I chip in here and there to browse at random -i filter a lot of what i digest. Most recently, I saw Kons' thread, titled "Hoto Yero amm?" That was a little emotional for me. I saw it almost 30 days after it posted when I referenced the date. It shows how guilty I am about my absence everywhere (including at Gainako), but honestly to be put, life is so busy -Alhamdoulillah!
Alhaji Momodou, It was with glad tidings I heard you visited Mecca for the Hajj/pilgrimage. May Allah (SWT) give you and all the umah/nation the blessings of Islam/hajj. According to authentic naration quoted from the Prophet Muhammad (Peace & Love of Allah be Upon him), that the one whose hajj/pilgrimage is accepted has only "death" preventing him from entering paradise. May Allah (SWT) give you the benefit of your trip, and all those that visited. Apparently, the hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam, no doubt -a gathering that attracts more beings than any other gathering on earth. The verses from the Quran where God instructed Prophet Ibraheem (kalilul lah) to make the "call" and people all over will turn towards it is quite interesting. Something is of real interest in that call. Long Live the Kaabah! Long Live Islam!
Mawdo Kons, Mih salminimah. I am glad to see you back.
Kind Regards,& I wish you all a happy new year in advance. Yero.

Thanks Brother Yero. I prayed that every Muslim gets the ability and chance to perform the pilgrimage in their lifetime. The spiritual experience cannot be explained in words.
Its good to see you respond. |

You know I believed in the late Alj Malick al-shabaq (Malcolm X) in his written letter from the hajj.
I say ameen to that prayer.
Thanks, Yero. |

Kayjatta fell from the palm tree and retired in a small town in Foni Kansala but he has enough shares in the Palm tapping business no worries. I suppose he is just a tad bit hungover all the time , "By the way he is not an attorney, Kayjatta is not an Attorney"...................................................Peace |

Kayjatta is here!!! I know the palm wine business is booming, since it is the only business Jammeh and NDEA recommends now since the cocaine and the biometric ID card scandal. Why is the NDEA after Pristine and Abdourahman Touray instead of the regular police or the NIA?) . Kayjatta visits Bantaba every day and he is enjoying the great debates going on...

Ah MOE,well I am back home and you were right I did go to North Bank, a quiet place with friendly people,on my visit this time I was very disappointed with the lack of money that MOST households had access to,many are crying and due to the increase in prices MANY are unable to have a good meal every day and have porrage instead to sustain them,MANY are very concerned by the bills generated by NAWEC and the payment that is required NOW,people simply have not got the money to pay and are now realising that times have changed and utilities want their money.Water is on sale at public pumps at the reasonable price of D1 for 20 litres a price afordable by everyone.cigarettes have increased from 15D to D20 per packet.I almost forgot an update to the ADT which is collected at the rate of 20e per departing passenger, you may be interested in the scan of a "ticket" the word reciept is avoided for some reason ! Moe I havn't got any wives in Gambia let alone 2 although there are some "fit" (as the US folks would say !) women there. Gender Emporement, part of the new social engineering experiment is going great guns, although not popular with may traditional men, watch out boys, you may have to get a job and work soon no drinking attaya all day soon ! Oh yes sugar is now D8 per cup.

| Hey touby? How was the trip? |
diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.
Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

It is good to have you back Toubab... it's also good to know that all that kept you away was checking out "fit" women while drinking your vimto ! |

Nicely stated Prince! I, too missed 2bab. With his silence coinciding with the arrest of of Julian Assange of Wikileaks,I was seriously wondering about him, since you never know who is posting under what name. As you know, the mind sometimes blows things out, in any way in a way to solve certain mysteries. Happy New Year 2bab & welcome back. I am glad all is well with you.
