Are these guys serious? It’ll cost $24M USD (well over half a BILLION dalasi) to basically “renovate and decorate” 160m of runway… someone must be making a killing. Wonder where all the kickback is going?

Tons of Gambian troubles could be solved with $24Million dollars…

Muhammed Nagathy, Regional Area manager of MA Kharafi & Sons Company, recently handed over one of Africa's longest airport runway projects to The Gambia Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA). The project is worth over 24 million dollars and financed by the government of The Gambia and the Kuwaiti Fund and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa.
