Gambia’s former Chief Justice passes away
The Point: Friday, August 28, 2015
 Gambia’s former Chief Justice Abdou Karim Savage has passed away.
According to sources, Mr Savage’s remains were laid to rest yesterday.
Mr Savage served as a literature teacher before pursuing his legal studies.
He worked at the AG Chambers in the early nineties as a state counsel.
He rose through the ranks before he was elevated to the position of Chief Justice. He was later removed from office.
