1. Gambian Exiled Politician Buba Baldeh Has Fallen

‘The Lion of Fulladou and Mansajang Kunda has fallen, a fluent speaker of many languages and a man who has injected his very best in his political beliefs.’
News of the demise of the late Bubacarr Michael Baldeh fondly called Buba Baldeh hit Kairo News with shock and disbelief. The nephew of veteran fire brand Gambian politician, Sada Njie, broke the news early this morning. Kairo News is saddened to hear of Mr Baldeh’s death. We join the immediate family of the late Bubacarr Baldeh, the many extended family members, his close friends and dissident Gambian community in this sad moment.
The late Baldeh is a famous and towering figure in Gambian political history. He served as Minister of Youth and Sports in the deposed PPP government. He was also the Member of Parliament for Basse until the coup in 1994.........
