This horror may well have disappeared from the headlines,it also appears that it has been forgotten by some of the population of Sierra Leone.

"SIERRA LEONE: HUNDREDS OF CONTACTS UNDER QUARANTINE IN SEVERAL DISTRICTS
18 January 2016
Posted 17 January: Authorities have identified over 200 people who had contact with the most recently confirmed Ebola fatality in Magburaka, Tonkolili. The official 16 January report states the contacts are quarantined in the districts of Kambia, Port Loko and Tonkolili.
News sources indicate that more contacts have been identified since then, with an additional district, Bombali, affected. Twenty-eight people are considered high risk, and the victim's father is apparently in quarantine in Freetown.
The victim was a 22-year-old student who lived in Lunsar. However she developed symptoms while on vacation in Baomoi Luma, and was taken to Magburaka where she died on 12 January. Her body tested positive for Ebola after she died. An investigation into how she was infected is underway.
Updated 18 January: None of the 200 plus contacts have developed symptoms of Ebola, as reported by the Ministry of Health in their Ebola Situation Report from 18 January. Contacts are being monitored in only three districts according to the official report; 93 people in Port Loko, 77 in Tonkolili and 41 in Kambia district. Two of the contacts remain in quarantine in Freetown."
