Posted - 01 Nov 2014 : 00:57:58 Excellent,disabled people have a very hard time in Gambia and should be integrated into the main stream of income generating activity of the country,the physically disabled have good brains and as in many facets of Gambian life it's the women who make the most of opportunities given to them.
SNIPPET: "There is a steering community in place that receive applications from the disable women who want to engage in petty trading or any form of income generating activity. Over the period, we have disbursed money to some applicants, ranging from five to fifteen thousand, depending on the type of business they are embarking on."
