I see from news on the site this am that there are 53 new cases within Guinea & Sierra Leone.

Incubation period
The incubation period is the time between infection (when a person takes in the virus) and when they start to feel ill. For Ebola, the period can range from 2 to 21 days. However, on average, it is about 7-9 days.
Symptoms
Usually, the person suddenly feels weak, with a fever, muscle/joint pain, headache and sore throat. Vomiting, diarrhoea, rash and abdominal pain follow in most cases. Some people may develop redness of eyes and hiccups.
Organ failure and bleeding (both internally and externally) occur in some people. These lead to death. About 50% to 90% of cases are fatal. The Zaire strain is the most lethal strain of Ebola. It is responsible for the current Ebola outbreak.

So let's think about it seriously, who has it correct, the politicians or the World Health Organisation.
The politicians spend $1.5million on ONE Tomahawk missile.
With respect, The World Health Organisation are giving £300,000 (three hundred thousand) towards Ebola - over four countries.
Ebola has no bounderies, we will eventually see who moves the fastest with the funds once it touches within their own.
(Previous news) In the Libya operation to enforce a no-fly zone, the Navy so far has launched 161 Tomahawk cruise missiles that, according to a senior U.S. Navy official, cost between $1.4 million and $1.5 million apiece.

SAB,your words "A human disaster is unfolding." are chilling and accurate they reinforce MY OPINION that this outbreak of Ebola and it's unrelenting march across Africa will accelerate in the near future,it appears "The Experts" are at a loss on how to cope with the approaching apocalyptic tide of death.

This has been OBVIOUS to most people for a very long time,coupled with no or very limited training of front line staff and lack of AVAILABLE GOVERNMENT MONEY,everything appears to have been given free by WHO and outside aid agencies.
"In many cases, medical staff are at risk because no protective equipment is available – not even gloves and face masks," the agency says in its latest update on the outbreak in Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone."
