My ex-husband living in Sweden is angry and upset about the amount of money he every year has to spend to his chilren's uniforms.

"We Gambians are so silly, we donīt even discuss it, we just accept it", he says.

Does anybody knows if there are discussions or plans to abandon the requirement for uniforms?

School uniform is a British legacy and I don't think Gambia will go the Scandinavian way, where school children dress any how they want and go to school.
